A home that does not rely on:
… the exploitation of others (fast furniture)
… exploitation of self (working as a means to an end)
… exploitation of the earth (excess use of and waste of natural resources)
And instead emphasizes:
… creative reuse (use of existing pieces, shopping second hand, re-purposing what exists already)
… creative reframing (what is really needed here, focus on achieving a “feeling” rather than a “look”)
… giving back (diverting from landfills, supporting local / small business dedicated to sustainability, ethical practices, producing quality products meant to last lifetimes.
Chique Shitte is a sustainable interior design studio and conscious living resource created by NYC designer and intuitive Kellyann Hee.
Kellyann left a successful career in the mainstream design world to create positive change in a crucial time on our planet.
Chique Shitte was founded on the ideals that everyone should have access to a beautiful home that they adore.
Kellyann has worked with clients such as The Hoxton hotel group, Soho House, as well as countless individuals and families on limited budgets and tight deadlines.
She holds an AAS in Interior Design from the Parsons School of Design, Reiki I certification from the Maha Rose Center for Healing, and completed the Climate Reality leadership training program with Al Gore.
